Dr Nick, but in 2013

i trained in neuroscience and psychology in the uk (manchester, bsc; oxford, msc, phd), and have studied neuroscience now for 28 years.

in that time i've worked in labs using pharmacology, cell culture, electrophysiology, behaviour, neuropsychology, brain imaging & brain stimuluation. i now run the hand laboratory in birmingham, specialising in the sense of touch and hand movements in adults & children.

despite my magesterial cv, i also make mistakes and can only proclaim real expertise about my tiny corner of neuroscience and some general methods like statistics. i'll do my best to get it right, but everything i offer on this website, on twitter, and on the podcast is my opinion only.
